I love Storage King. The process organising a unit was seamless. Great communication/emails from the staff who have the best bedside manner. Straight forward and sensible. My only suggestion (and this has very little to do with the service but does leave an impression when using the facility) is to clean the stainless steel lifts. Lots of residue from left over posters and stickers have made it look unsightly and without sounding like someone who finds something to complain about it disappoints me a little every time I go there. However the actual units and service is faultless.

Dealing with the female representatives of Storage King is an absolute pleasure and they are exceptional with knowledge and helpfulness. The gentlemen who I spoke to on my first visit was intrusive and didnt seem to listen to my questions in the first instance. The premises is clean, accessible and feels safe. We went to visit four storage facilities - the courtesy van was what sealed it for us.

I’ve been given guidance and advice every step from booking to loading.
I had an issue with my locks and the team went absolutely beyond their scope to help me free my belongings from the dodgy lock.
Highly recommend. Great value for money and clear, concise instructions

were very professional and helpful... Lastly... the storage area is super clean, with good lighting and finding your way around was no problem... altogether that's a seamless and super professional experience...

Access to the site is easy, fairly wide corridors to walk furniture down, communication and instructions were excellent. BYO padlocks but they sell them at the site. Recommended.

The girl at the front desk was not friendly. When i asked for a cooy of the contrat she said “you dont need it i have it on my end”
I said “thats good but I’d like a cooy please”
She said “you dont need it”
I said “its very normal for a customer to receive a copy of the contract of service provided, please send it to me.”
This went back amd forth for 5minutes.
She then finally emailed it to me and i said thank you and she said nothing. She was quite rude.
Her name was Aleesha
I saw her agin on the day i moved in. I was very friendly and she was again quite rude.

I found using Storage King Yarraville was a good experience. The staff were professional, and the unit was reasonably priced (we booked it while they were having a sale).
Parking is a bit tight if you are there during peak times, or if bringing a truck or trailer, but otherwise I would use them again.

This place is great. It’s a newer facility so everything is clean. Great lifts, not too dusty and most importantly it’s cheaper than everywhere else I tried. The car access is also quite safe and out of the weather. Would highly recommend.

Awful experience - arranged a storage unit for me to use that day due to a fantastic offer they had, was told I had to be there before 5pm to sign paperwork.
Upon arriving at 4.20pm, the office was unmanned and waited outside for 20 minutes.
Upon staff member eventually greeting us was told had to be there before 430pm to sign the paperwork, despite what was said on phone.
The story then changed that there systems were offline so I would be unable to sign in and that they wouldn't do anything.
Highly unprofessional and unreliable, would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Not worth the whopping 290 a month when they only give you access till 9pm I would NEVER of chosen this storage place with ridiculously limited times especially if working during the day it’s just bizarre and a waste of money.
The units are decent sized but you pay so much for them and seeing as the access times at like 6am maybe 7am till 9pm you basically can’t access it if you hold a full time job: pretty bad service if you ask me
Wish you could give one star feel duped I also updated my Mobile and email and they didn’t update my details end slapped me with massive late charges hun they didn’t send me the invoices to the proper email addresses. I paid a month in advance and 15 days later they went the next month in wrvwnfr just thing it’s a rip because being one month behind they meeewge that I’ll loose my possessions when I’d given direct debit to use with the account and the card worked fine so I just think it’s a disorderly and service that doesn’t give you anywhere near or close to the value your paying for. An extra 30 a month I’m slapped with cause it’s the ground level floor for the unit size and they offer huge discounts on google ads then say they don’t end to send it to them they then refuse to adhere to it

GO AND SPEND ELSEWHERE IF YOU WANT TO SAVE CASH AND ACTUALLY HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR ITEMS AT REASONABLE TIMES AS THIS COMPANYS ACCESS PERIODS ARE JUST PATHETIC!!!

Also was promised a move in van and then told they were not available to me.
I still believe that there must be something that can be done about them advertising thought Google which are PAID advertisements about 75 percent off the first month then 50 the second month back in September and still to be able to list say no we don’t do that. Is wrong.
Same as not disclosing the time restrictions when I asked about them, and was told it was available till 9 with someone in the office then we had access anytime via keypad but that’s not true it’s like 5ish for office workers there and self access to 9
Half considering taking to consumer affairs for false advertising as it’s still saying 1 month free

A mess of an experience with this company. Forced marketing through sms and email with no way to opt out. Forced acceptance of terms not available at time of acceptance.
Purchased a box package for delivery, was later told delivery was not available, despite my calling to check ahead of time and being told as delivery was OK.
Rental contracts had incorrect dates, I asked for that to be amended and to be notified when done and I received no notification.
I was promised a return call to confirm my booking and box delivery time and have not received a call. My first three calls with Ashley resulted in disappointment as she told me things that were either untrue or misleading.
My last call with Sarah resulted in a refund as she was unwilling or unable to help deliver the boxes I have purchased.
I haven't even started storing things, this is just the sign up process!
This company's systems are awful and there doesn't seem to be anyone who cares about it.
