So glad we chose Storage King O Conner to store the entire contents of our home. They were organised, professional and reassuring at a stressful time. We did not have a smooth transition during the sale of our house because of buyers that were contracted to be cash purchasers when it became evident they were not a few months later. As a result we had a delayed settlement that eventually went through but in the interim the telephone staff at the storage facility were sympathetic to our predicament and knowledgeable with their advice as to how we would not lose what we had booked, by being flexible with unit availability and payment options. The actual storage facility is clean and secure and we feel very comfortable leaving all our furniture locked up here for a fairly long period of time. In the past we have used a more expensive one stop shop packing and storage company but this time coupled with a fantastic Removalist guy , and what storage king offered we feel we had a a better and more stream lined day of settlement. Moving is generally a very stressful experience for most people. Surrounding yourself with proficient resources is essential to prevent you from going insane.

Security not as advertised— Website says facility has “controlled entry” and you need a key code to get in with your car… but I once inside today I saw there is a second back entrance that with a gate left open for anyone to drive in… and the door to the storage units is left open during office hours… so the only thing actually protecting my stuff is just my pad lock! I spoke to the lady at the desk about it and she said the other gate is controlled by another business and he leaves it open when he’s there… but not to worry because there are cameras. Unless you have insurance as well, storage king is not responsible if your stuff is stolen. I’m going to be moving my stuff to another company.

Ringing helpline is USELESS.
Waiting over 10min on hold with no answer. When I did get through the person was unable to put me through to relevant people to help.

I use Fort Knox Self Storage to store my business inventory as it is conveniently located to my office. Over the past few weeks I have been out of town and have needed assistance in shipping some of the packages from my storage unit. Alex Bailey and the team at Fort Knox have gone above and beyond in helping me get my orders shipped out on time. They helped me with getting shipping quotes, removing the packages from my unit and labeling them ready to be picked up.
I wholeheartedly recommend Fort Knox to any small or medium size business who needs to store their inventory in a safe and easy to access location.

The Fort Knox team moved his last week. From the pre-move visits by Alex and the leader of the move team, Mike, they paid great attention to detail and, most important, took great care of our belongings. It was a complicated move, with us moving out most of our boxes and furniture on a Monday and Tuesday, and a van coming to take the balance of our possessions (mostly our more fragile items) early on Thursday morning. The first truck arrived to unload at the new house on Thursday morning, and everything was finished by noon on Friday. You meet a lot of people who just do their job for the money, and go through the motions; that couldn't have been further from the truth with Mike's team. He, Michelle, Tim and Dylan complemented each other perfectly. They were friendly and cheerful throughout, and showed the greatest respect for both the loads they were moving, and the floors and walls of both properties. Furniture that had to be disassembled at the first house was put back together effortlessly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. I recommend them very highly.
